The Source is a private-label platform that allows licensed stylists and salon owners to launch their own branded hair extension line without dealing directly with overseas manufacturers. We provide premium hair, branding, packaging, logistics, and support in one streamlined system.

Who is The Source for?
The Source is designed for licensed hairstylists, salon owners, and beauty professionals who want to sell hair extensions under their own brand without the risk, minimums, and trial-and-error that comes with sourcing independently.

Is The Source a hair extension brand?
No. The Source does not sell hair under our own name. We operate as a behind-the-scenes supplier so you can build and grow your own brand.

Why was The Source created?
After years of running a high-volume hair extension brand, we saw a major shift in the industry. Professionals want to own their brand but are struggling with inconsistent quality, rising costs, logistics, and unreliable suppliers. The Source was built to solve those exact problems.

Hair Quality & Sourcing

Where does the hair come from?
Our hair is ethically sourced through long-term manufacturing partners we’ve worked with for years. These relationships allow us to maintain consistency, transparency, and quality control.

What types of hair do you offer?
We currently offer premium Remy human hair in Genius Wefts and Keratin Tips, with expansion into additional methods over time.

Is the hair cuticle-aligned?
Yes. All hair is 100% cuticle-aligned, double drawn where applicable, and processed to maintain longevity and color integrity.

How long does the hair last?
With proper care, our hair typically lasts 6–12 months or longer, depending on method, maintenance, and aftercare.

Starter Packages & Ordering

Do I need to purchase a starter package?
Yes. Starter packages are required to launch with The Source. They ensure you begin with a curated, profitable color range and allow us to properly onboard and support your brand.

What is included in a starter package?
Starter packages include a curated selection of hair, access to our private-label system, onboarding support, and eligibility to reorder at wholesale pricing.

Can I choose my own shades in the starter package?
Yes. You will select your shades through our onboarding form based on the package you choose.

Is there a minimum order quantity for reordering?
Reorders have no minimum quantity. However, you will receive $0 Free Shipping on any order over $500.

Reorders & Wholesale Pricing

How do reorders work?
Once your starter package is complete, you can reorder through our private reorder system at wholesale pricing.

Do wholesale prices change?
Wholesale pricing may adjust over time due to raw hair costs, currency fluctuations, and logistics. Any changes are communicated clearly in advance.

Can I mix lengths and colors on reorders?
Yes ! Absolutely.

Branding & Packaging

Can I sell the hair under my own brand name?
Yes. Your hair is sold entirely under your brand. The Source does not appear on your packaging or customer-facing materials.

Do you offer custom packaging?
Yes. We offer branded packaging options including hang tags and other brand elements depending on your package and add-ons.

Can I use my existing logo?
Absolutely. You may use your existing logo or work with us to refine your branding before production.

Will my clients know I use The Source?
No. The Source operates fully white-label.

Shipping & Logistics

Where does the hair ship from?
Orders ship from our fulfillment partners once production is complete.

How long does production take?
Production timelines vary depending on order size and method, but timelines are communicated clearly at the time of ordering.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International shipping is available. Duties, taxes, and customs fees are the responsibility of the brand owner. We try our best to keep these low and due to our ongoing relationship with our logistic partner, duties are often not applied.

Is shipping included?
All orders over $500 will apply for Free Shipping.

Support

Will you help me price my hair?
Yes. We provide pricing guidance based on sustainable margins rather than inflated industry pricing. This can be purchased under +add ons.

Is ongoing support available?
Yes. We offer ongoing support for ordering, logistics, and general brand guidance.

Payments & Policies

Is a deposit required?
Starter packages require payment in full unless otherwise stated.

Do you offer payment plans?
Payment plans may be available on select packages or promotions.

Are refunds available?
Due to the custom nature of private-label production, all sales are final once production begins.

Can I cancel after ordering?
Orders cannot be canceled once production has started.
